"Binding Katrina is a not only a hot read but it is also a sweet romance. I really enjoyed the love that Braydon shows Katrina. No matter what she says or thinks about herself Braydon is there for Katrina. He cares for her and only wants to love her. As tough as Katrina is on the outside we see how vulnerable she is on the inside. Watching Katrina bare her soul to Braydon and seeing his reaction was a nice read. All he wants is Katrina's happiness and continues to show this throughout the story. Braydon never gives up on Katrina or their love, proving that true love can conquer so much. Filled with emotions this book had me from the start. I really enjoyed Braydon's character. He was so full of emotion and determination. A true hero if I ever read one. Selena Illyria is a great storyteller and has quickly become a favorite author of mine. An Interview with Selena Illyria

HH: Selena, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Your featured book is Binding Katrina and it's part of the multi-author Dragon Kin series at Changeling Press. How did you come to be part of this series?SI: Thank You for having me. It was Celia Kyle's idea, that was pitched to Changeling Press and I was challenged to submit a story to be included. *Grin*
HH: Your story is about a lovely lady and an elven prince who won't take no for answer. Where did you get the idea for their steamy story? SI: I knew I wanted to do a story for Katrina after mentioning her in my book Dragon Kin: Reclaimed. Once I was done with that story, a plot bunny for Katrina presented itself.
HH: What do you like best about Katrina and how will readers relate to her? SI: Underneath that tough shell, is a vulnerable woman who's been hurt and never really made attachments to others. She invests in people but doesn't really think about them making an investment in her beyond something superficial.
HH: What do you like best about Braydon and why will women love him? SI: He's naughty but he's caring. Braydon at his core is a loyal person, flirty, but devoted to Katrina and determined to rip down her walls and get her to open up to him.
HH: Will you be writing any more stories in this series? SI: Yes. I just turned in the second part of Katrina and Braydon's story and I have a few more ideas in mind for some characters that I've mentioned in Binding Katrina and Resistance.
HH: What else do you have in the works? SI: I have a ménage story I'm working on as well as a Bachelor Auction story for Etopia Press.
HH: What do you enjoy most about the writing itself?
SI: I love discovering new worlds and characters. I love telling their stories and watching it unfold as I write.
HH: What advice would you give to aspiring writers today?
SI: Write. Write. Write. And learn to take criticism.
HH: What are you reading right now? SI: Oh boy, I'm reading so many things. One is a collection of Sherlock Holmes' stories, Willa Okati's Black Swan and a few stories from Evangeline Anderson.
HH: Any fun plans for the summer? SI: Other than writing? I'm just praying for a nice, warm summer. No heat waves or major temperature drops, please. I'm also attending the Authors After Dark Convention in August. *Grin*
