Wormhole bombs aren't supposed to be possible, yet one was set off in Counselor Dekalia's living quarters.  Luckily she wasn't there at the time, but now keeping her from another threat falls to the Guardian Commander.  So of course he assigned one of his best Primale Guardians to keep her safe, even from herself since she's opposed to protection.  Marax is the lucky Guardian to take Dekalia into protective custody. Too bad he doesn't see it that way. And since his commander knows he has a tough challenge ahead of him he's given him permission to deal with her like an obedient, instead of the fem she is.  Little did they know that when Marax finally caves and spanks Dekalia, after she attempts to escape, their mysterious enemy sends them on an incredibly surreal journey they never could have imagined. Not only does it change their impressions of fems and mems together and primales and obedients, but it may just start a change that goes far beyond them, if they can make it through alive that is.

This is the eighth book in Reese Gabriel's wonderful More than Male series, but it's actually a prequel to book one.  It's easily just as good as all the rest in the series which I've loved, and while it could be read on it's own, I'd have to recommend that you've at least read the first book before reading this one.  I know I know that sounds really odd but I just think there are things in the first book that are oddly better to have read before you read how it all started.  Now don't remotely think that means I didn't completely enjoy this book because I did.  I mean what's not to love when you have an incredibly strong alpha male, a feisty woman, and hot, hot sex?  Even before they have sex, the chemistry between Dekalia and Marax is electric, and then throw in spanking -- whooee!  I just really love these primales and the women who take them on.
