Austin Archer believes in angels. He comes to believe in them more so when he's attacked one night and saved by one. That was twelve years ago. Now a detective working
a horrific murder case, he could use an angel's help. The one common denominator in all the murders seem familiar. When an mysterious stranger
is seen at several of the murders sites, Austin's antenna goes haywire. Jude might be the key in solving the murders if Austin truly believes in angels.
Although there's a definite attraction between the two, the most important thing is finding justice for the victims.
This was a likeable engaging story from beginning to end. It's not your usual angel m/m story with the familiar tale of good and evil. There is definitely good and evil
but the author puts her own unique spin on it. The main protagonists are well written with good supporting characters too. I liked the premise a lot, it had
mystery and something new as far as the paranormal aspect. Austin and Jude are so good together, I hope to see them in another story soon. The story
moves at a good pace and nothing including sex or love is forced between the two main characters. In essence, it's a fast read with a creative plot. I had
bittersweet feelings about the ending. It was fitting but in my heart of hearts I wished for a different ending. A good read.
