Branimir Javlosk and his longtime partner started a rescue rehab center for abused horses. When his partner died suddenly, it was
left up to Branimir to carry on. His gift of being able to connect with horses will come in handy when Mary's Gospel is brought to
the center by Austin Jameson. Austin is a successful event rider from an affluent family who rescued Mary's Gospel from her cruel owner.
The two immediately hit it off and look forward to getting to know each other better while helping to save horses in need. The one huge fly
in the ointment is the secret Branimir has been hiding since forever. It has the possibility of changing everything.
I liked this one. It wasn't the story I'm accustomed to reading from T.A. but I thought it was engaging and it held my interest throughout. Both the two
legged and four legged main characters drive the story. Branimir and Austin were cute together while Mary's Gospel along with the other equine
characters will make you smile with joy. There's a lot of the story dedicated to the business side of the horse industry and how it works. I thought
I would be bored but the author made it palatable. Mostly it's about the love of horses and the people who love them. In the midst of all this we get some
romance with a paranormal twist. The sequential order was a little off, I had to back track a few times. This wasn't one of my favorite books by the
author but it was a easy and enjoyable read.
