| Jack and AJ are forestry workers who once played together but now only have a working relationship. When Jack is sent out on a call, he encounters big trouble in the form of an avalanche. AJ comes to the rescue and gets Jack safely to the hospital. Will this be a new beginning for both men?
This was a short and pleasant read. A really simple look at love and romance between men with a few issues to iron out. Both characters are likeable and the angst is minimal. This isn't a complex plot kind of story. Jack gets into trouble and AJ saves him. They had a relationship that went awry and now with the incident, both men are dealing with residual feelings. The story runs from there, we get the angsty moments and the sex. For a short story it was a decent read to pass the time. A easy and quick story if you have some time to spare.
