Cerridwen Obrey has a chance meeting with a neighbor and her one night stand leaves her pregnant. She confronts the father to be and he is not ready to be a dad and avoids her. She has to come to terms with not only the fact that she may be raising this child alone but that she has been hiding her magic and will need to overcome that also. She is out of money and food and takes a chance with a man who offers to take her in until she gets on her feet. Little does she know her new roomy is Loki, the prankster, and he's determined to bring Cerridwen and Kade back together --or he will keep her himself. Kade is a wolf and Cerridwen does not know that yet. It takes quite a while for her to believe that such things exist. This book was a nice read. I really like Loki for trying so hard to take care of Cerridwen. I didn't like Kade through most of the story as I thought he was really wishy washy on his feelings toward Cerridwen. Really would like to read Loki's story and if the fairy gets her man in the end. In all it was a good fairy tale story. Overall rating:
