Packing Heat is not long on plot but the title definitely fits the book. There's lots of sexual heat packed into this story of two strong, testosterone laden men. The basic premise of two friends becoming lovers is more than obvious with the frequent smoking sex scenes. There wasn't any doubt Brad and Gavin have mad chemistry. The heat level is scorching and the dirty talk between them sends this story into erotic territory. When they aren't connecting with their bodies the dialogue is good enough to sustain the story and keep it moving smoothly. The handcuff scene is significant and revealing. I've stated in a previous review I love a good epilogue, to me it's a perfect ending to a story. My thanks to the author for including one here. In respect to entertainment value, the story delivered. The resolution of one important issue wasn't cut and dried and left me wondering. In view of everything this sexy story of a hot firefighter and equally hot cop will thrill you.
