I chose this book to read because of its author. I’m a fan of Ms. Clare Revell and chose to read this even though I normally don’t read time-travel novels. I absolutely loved this book! I was totally surprised but shouldn’t have been because I am aware of her reputation. Jonni was house-sitting while her friends were on their honeymoon. She was staying in the home of the Earl of Elton in Southby at Headley Crossing. The Christmas holidays were upon them and Jonni left to walk into town for some last-minute items for her baking. When she reached the street crossing, she pushed the “crossing” button and got run over by a large coach pulled by a team of horses. She was just awaiting the cross walk when they came out of nowhere and plowed into her. Lord Sebastian Tyler, the Third Earl of Elton, lived at Southby Manor. His mother, sister, their maid and he were travelling home when the coach hit something. He was totally surprised when he found the almost undressed woman under the wheels. His mother insisted she might have germs or diseases but Sebastian refused to leave her. She had no memory of who she was or what happened. The Earl refused to acknowledge his attraction to this woman. Revell did an excellent job telling this story. Her plot was great and the storyline was unforgettable. The main characters in this book were multi-faceted and their depth was so interesting. The secondary characters were definitely important to the book. As expected with this publisher, the inspirational aspects were exceptional and believable without being offensive. The ending of the book was certainly not what I expected when I started reading. I look forwarding to anything this author writes. She is on my must-read list. I highly endorse this book for all ages and personalities. Great job, Ms. Revell! Overall rating:
