| Wolf Mates is a collection of short stories chronicling the lives and loves of Max and Derrick Adam’s pack of misfit wolf shifters. There’s Hector, the vegetarian who raises rabbits as pets, Jerry who gets stuck mid-shift into a half man/half wolf form, and Beau who was neutered by animal rights activists. It all comes together in a hilariously sexy book that is just too good to miss.
An American Werewolf in Hoboken Sexy, zany and hilarious! This book has started strong and with guns blazing. The reader is guaranteed a least a dozen smiles and a couple of good chuckles along with extreme temperature fluctuations Dakota Cassidy isn‘t pulling any punches when it comes to the erotic content of her stories. I think I’ll just get cozy and enjoy the rest of the ride.
What’s New Pussycat Derrick was such a typical man in this story, furry or not. Incensed over the thought of losing his footloose life style until he finds out she wants nothing to do with being his life mate. So very wolf in the manger. An excellent follow up to Max’s story and we get to meet a few more of the misfits who make up the Adam’s family(only with fur and claws). I did get a few really good guffaws out of Martine’s feline antics, her demeanor was spot on for a pampered house cat.
Moon Over Manhasset I think this was the hottest of some extremely scorching stories. It maintained the humorous tone of the book and even through in a bit of suspense and intrigue. In the first two stories, the couples were complete opposites, Julie and Xavier were mucho simpatico except for species. Both were very urbane and neither one was interested in anything long term or more than physical. This was what I felt was the best of the bunch.
Ruff and Ready I learned so many new swear combinations from this story. I laughed through the whole thing. Bringing just sheer genius to a tale absolutely rife with absurdity, Dakota Cassidy was at her very best and her very raunchiest when she penned this little snippet. She also managed to tie up all the loose ends nicely and leaves the reader with a taste of what to expect in the future from these hilariously unique and over sexed shifters. Excellent job!
