I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. This is a fast-paced story that is filled with action and a lot of sexual encounters between the two main characters. I liked Harriet. She was a strong woman who knew how to protect those that she cared about. I felt a little sorry for her because Trace couldn’t tell her the words that she most wanted to hear -- that he loved her too. But she never lost hope. I liked Trace too even though he was a man of few words, and he kept the most important ones to himself. He protected Harriet from the men who had abducted her. Warning: this story contains a forced sexual act between Harriet and one of her abductors. The love scenes between Trace and Harriet are melting hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.
