Looks like another lonely Christmas for Emery. He's working the night shift at the diner, wishing for things that seem impossible.
If wishes came true, he would be spending Christmas with Ross, a very sexy customer he's had his eye on for a while. It looks like
he might be getting his wish after all when Ross shows up at the diner.Although what he brings with him isn't welcome.
This is how a short story should be written. I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed reading this one. A dangerously inviting tale of horror and
romance. I've read some similar books but I will say this is one of the better ones. The author pushes the horror button and we get
zombies in all their horrific glory. A very descriptive accounting that is goosebumps worthy. For a short the characterization is on point. We don't know a lot about Emery and Ross but I liked what I saw. They are great together fighting the zombies and even better when
loving each other. Just as things were getting really good the story ends. What a disappointment, I wanted more story and I'm hoping the
author has plans for a sequel. If you like zombie/romance stories as much as I do, pick this one up soon.
